These repair work focus on health and security, ease of access, and significant system issues. Program Eligibility Requirements Homeowner need to be an US citizen or Legal Local Property owner need to have clear title and must occupy property Home value with rehabilitation can not exceed $196,000 Home loan need to be present, home loan balance and home's square footage might affect eligibility Home should be an owner-occupied, single-family house Residential or commercial property should be within San Antonio City Limits Property owner and residential or commercial property must be clear of liens or judgment, except for mortgages Real estate tax must be current; taxes in defaults, deferrals and payment strategies are not qualified Home needs to be designated a Homestead with the Bexar County Appraisal District Utility expenses need to be in the homeowner's name Rental homes, mobile homes and duplexes are eligible Chapter 7, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, reverse home loan are qualified Homeowner is qualified if an existing funded rehab contract exist for: Deposit Assistance or OOR restrictive covenant, excluding lead-based paint removal Family gross income need to be at or listed below 80% of the Area Typical Earnings (AMI) limitations: Home Size 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Yearly Earnings $41,550 $47,450 $53,400 $59,300 $64,050 $68,800 $73,550 $78,300 Program Terms and Requirements Support is a deferred forgivable loan to property owner (repayment not required & percentage forgiven every year).

The SAGHH is working to avoid and correct housing-related health and wellness risks, such as addressing lead-based paint, household asthma sets off and fire dangers. Eligibility Home need to be developed prior to 1978; AND Home should be situated within the City of San Antonio; AND A kid age 5 and under should reside in the home or spend a minimum of 6 hours each week in the home; AND Have a clear title to home; AND Should be existing with residential or commercial property taxes; AND Family should meet HUD recognized Earnings Standards for families making 80% or listed below of Location Median Income.
